This type of Alert is very similar to the National Defense Alert Status, except it pertains to U.S. Citizens with regards to Preparedness and Danger Levels and warnings.
It also uses the Alert Status to notify various Patriot Groups and Units as to current conditions that might require immediate Attention or Readiness or Action.
